A Jackson summer tradition since 1985 — thirty-plus trombones live on the Potter Center patio.

About the event
Trombonefest returns for its 42nd year as part of Jackson College's free summer concert series, 7:00 to 8:30 PM on the back patio of the Potter Center. Created by Ron Douglass in 1985, this one-of-a-kind Jackson tradition packs the stage with thirty-plus trombones and a driving rhythm section. Bring a lawn chair, settle in, and enjoy a summer evening of big brass sound — free and open to the community.
